The Start of the Day
Children are welcomed into class at 8:30am ready for the start of the school day and the start of registration at 8:40am. If you arrive after 8:40am and the classroom doors are closed, you should come to the school office to sign your child in.
It is important to be on time at the start of the day as good habits start young! The start of lessons is used as teaching time with early morning tasks. If your child is late they can miss work, or time to change their reading book or just to settle in to the day.
Breakfast Club opens at 7:45am. For details see our Clubs page.
Break and Lunchtime
All children have a mid morning break where they are able to have milk and fruit/vegetables. Fruit/vegetables is provided free by the government fruit and vegetable scheme. If you prefer, your child may bring their own named snack, however, we would be very grateful if you would support the school in its healthy eating policy and send only fruit or vegetables. For details of the milk scheme see our School Milk page.
Lunch Time is from 12.00-1.00pm and lunch is cooked on site by professional catering company HC3S. School lunches are free for infant children. For further details about lunchtimes and the latest menu see our School Dinners page.
The End of the Day
School closes at 3:00pm. Please collect your child no later than 3.00pm unless they are attending an after school club.
There are after school activity clubs running on most days of the week and the Koosa Kids After School club runs every day from 3:00pm until 6:00pm. For details see see our Clubs page.
The School Office is normally open between 8.15am and 3.45pm.
We would also like to draw your attention to the fact that any children on site who are not pupils at this school are the responsibility of the parents/carers. Please ensure that children on site are supervised at all times.
