We're going on an Amazon Rainforest adventure this half term!  We will be learning about the layers of the rainforest as we learn to write reports and have already been inspired by the story of the Great Kapok Tree.  We will be learning about food chains and habitats in science and will be rounding off our learning with a visit to the Living Rainforest on April 1st where we will find out about some of the plants and food that come from the Amazon.

In maths, we are continuing to focus on calculation skills using addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.

Preview learning (sent home each week), contains a brief overview of the learning that is coming up in the following week.  Your support of these activities at home is much appreciated.  Please don't hesitate to come and speak to the class teachers at the beginning or end of each day if you have any questions or, if you would like a longer chat, we are always happy to book an appointment.

If you'd like more information about our learning this half term, please look at the topic web below.

As always, keep practising spellings each week and don't forget to read as often as you can. We expect you to read for 10 to 15 minutes, at least three or four times a week.

As always, many thanks for your continued support.
