Fantastic news, we have been awarded the RSPB Wild Challenge Bronze Award!
Our Forest School work this year has focussed on working towards the RSPB Wild Challenge Award, ably led for us by Mrs Parker as Science Coordinator. The Wild Challenge encourages two things:
Helping Nature - making our school garden a brilliant home for nature and our outdoor spaces wonderfully wildlife-friendly!
Experiencing Nature - getting up close and personal with wildlife and exploring the world of amazing nature right under our noses!
In order to be awarded the Bronze level our Year 1 pupils have completed six activities aimed at both experiencing nature and helping nature, for example making bird feeders. Congratulations to everyone who contributed both in school and as part of their home learning.
