Consultation on Admissions Policy 2019-2020

 

We are proposing a change to our current admissions arrangements to the criteria applied if the school is oversubscribed as follows:

 

- Criterion 2: Exceptional circumstances to apply in the normal admission round only. We are proposing this change to bring our policy in line with Hampshire's policy for maintained schools. We are also proposing to include a sentence to clarify non-submission of evidence in this criterion.

 

- Criterion 4: Siblings criterion to apply to siblings on the roll of the school at the time of application rather than time of admission. We are proposing this change to maintain continuity for families with children in Year 2 at the school at the time of application.

 

- We are also adding an explanatory note on Late Applications.
